Challenge

Develop an advertising campaign that speaks to business leaders outside of Western New York and encourage them to expand their business to the region.

Approach

We let the facts speak for themselves. Instead of editorializing on the many positive aspects of doing business in the region, we went with simple statistics. We compiled a list of hundreds of reasons why a business owner would want to expand or move their operations to the region. The campaign made a big splash at the airport with millions of annual visitors, and was later used as the featured message in a video produced by First+Main. A combination of print ads, banner ads, video and web strategies were implemented to speak directly to Canadian and out of town business owners.
