Redesign
the menu to communicate the restaurant's commitment to locally produced food
and farm-to-table dishes
We paired hand-illustrated icons with informative copy to provide a brief education on the restaurant's sourcing philosophy. The menu references farms and ingredients the restaurant sources from. It is meant to be a source of conversation and education, two things Shango believes is part of the dining experience. Layered type and textures are used to connect diners with the restaurant's Cajun and Creole influence. Menus are finished with a matte lamination for durability and simplicity.
