Challenge

Create the branding for room's newest concept boutique, and align with a revised identity design for the room brand. 

Approach

When room decided to open its newest concept boutique, room2, in the lobby of The Hotel @ Lafayette, they decided it was an opportune time to refresh and align their identities to make for a more consistent brand. We began with the new store. We developed the name, room2, to convey the simplicity of the room branding, while leaving room in the naming structure for future expansions. Logos for room's two existing stores, room and babyroom, were refreshed with a cohesive color scheme and typefaces. The brand's three store logos now appear together as a united brand identity. The new designs were translated to new stationery, business cards, and collateral materials.
